“I’ve been going here for 5+ years and the service is decent, but the last 3 times I went I had an horrible uncomfortable experience with Lee, the older male nail tech. He’s always flirty or making suggestive comments (Asking me if I wanted to marry him, telling me he likes my smile or my lips, or just overly complementing me) but in the past I’ve just tried to ignore it or ask for Gina, the other tech. The last time I went Lee was rubbing my hands in a way that made me uncomfortable, even did as much as pretend to kiss my hands. I was getting acrylics, but he was literally almost holding my hands like we were on a dinner date. I excused that behavior, writing it off as my own over reaction, but when I was done with nails I sat in another chair to do my eyebrows when something awful happened. I was leaning back in the chair with my eyes closed, waiting for the woman to come back with the wax for the next brow and Lee GRABBED MY FACED AND PRETENDED HE WAS GOING TO KISSED ME. He was close enough for me to smell the cigarettes on his breath. I was shocked disgusted and so angry. I told him that was not okay, but he and the woman just kinda laughed, not really understanding how violated I felt. I did not know what to say. If both of my brows had been done, I would’ve left immediately. I will never go back here. Also, I hated my nails that day but thats besides the point really.”

“Love this nail salon! Best prices and care. They also offer a good discount for students which was hard to find. I tell everyone I know to go here & it’s close to campus! I also broke a nail and they fixed it for free which was so generous considering how close it was to closing time.”

“I have been coming here for about 6 months and Zen never disappoints. BEST PEDICURE IN TOWN, hands down. The prices are also great; a gel pedi, full set and eyebrow wax cost me about $140 before tip ($175 after tip) which is still VERY reasonable. The eyebrow wax is also top notch and I ended up ditching my threading place for here!! Not only do you get all the expected services with a pedicure, but a hot wax treatment, hot stone massage, and hot towels. The price is VERY low for all the services you get, every time I get a pedicure the nail technician puts in the effort and does a wonderful job. One thing to keep in mind is that this salon is primarily walk-in based from what I have seen. That being said, expect to wait to be serviced as there are limited technicians and sometimes many customers. If you want a pedi, you can wait in the massage chair so it's actually not bad to wait! The techs will get to you as fast as they possibly can, but just be cognizant that you may have to be patient (and that's okay!). LOVE ZEN. The techs are so sweet, talented and really put in the effort. I can't recommend this place enough!”
