What people are saying

“Hands down the best nail salon in Burlington! I always leave happy — the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and clearly take pride in their work. Every visit feels relaxed and personal, never rushed. My nails always look amazing and last so well. If you’re looking for a place that treats you right and does great work every single time, this is it. Highly recommend!”

“I went in for a gel pedicure and left with an infected ingrown toenail (note: I did not have an ingrown before my appointment). The tech doing my pedicure broke skin on my toe by digging too deep, would often take her phone out with gloves on and not change them before she continued my pedicure, and now I am left with a massive infected nail.”

“I’ve been going to Tropical Nails for over 10 years. I mostly get pedicures but I’ve also had plenty of manicures and dip powder nails over the years. I’ve always had a great experience and have been consistently happy with the quality of their work My only tip is to call ahead (ideally a day or two in advance, or even earlier if you can!) rather than counting on a walk-in or same-day appointment. I actually appreciate that they don’t overbook or say yes to every appointment request just to have customers waiting 45 minutes or an hour, like many nail salons do.”

“Never in my life have I walked out mid service for anything. I would rather say nothing and cry about it later. Not only did they hurt me multiple times but the way they handled my hands and shoving them in my face when I asked if my nail was uneven. They don’t use the proper tools to get gel polish off they pick at it until it is somewhat off- might as well pick it off at home. I asked if they used the electric buffers she said “no bad for your nail” and continued to pick off my gel. Told me my nails were pink um hello your taking off red nail polish and picking away at them. I will attach a photo of how my nails looked before they were about to paint them and I left. I offered to pay for whatever they did but the guy told me JUST GO. I would run far away from this place.”

“Tropical Nails is my favorite salon to go to, and I’ve truly never had a bad experience! This week Anh did my nails and they are beautiful! I get acrylic with gel polish, and they turned out fab. 10/10 would recommend—all of the nail artists are amazing, you can’t go wrong!”
