“I have been to several nail technicians over the years, and honestly, I was starting to feel discouraged. I have experienced salons where even with an appointment, you still end up waiting because walk-ins are being taken ahead of you. I have also been to places that feel more like an assembly line than a relaxing appointment, where the focus seems to be getting people in and out as quickly as possible instead of truly listening to what each client wants. I have had many different types of nail services over the years, including acrylic, dip powder, natural nails, tips, and Gel-X. No matter how many times I explained that I did not want my nails to look or feel thick because I have small nail beds, I often left feeling disappointed. My nails would end up too thick, they would start lifting, and my hair would get caught underneath them. After dealing with that over and over again, I knew I needed to take my time and find someone who truly understood what I was looking for. After doing some research, I learned about builder gel and loved the idea of a technique that looks more natural, is not bulky, and allows your natural nails to grow stronger. There are not many salons in the area that offer builder gel, but I found The Painted Lady Nail Salon and booked an appointment with Britney. I am so glad I did because Britney is truly the real deal. From the moment I walked in for my first appointment, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The salon is cute, stylish, and has such a pleasant atmosphere. I also had a Russian dry pedicure, which was something I had never experienced before, and it was lovely. What impressed me most was the time Britney took to listen. She asked about my past experiences, understood my concerns, and paid attention to exactly what I wanted for my nails. She reassured me that builder gel would be a great option for my small nail beds, and she was right. I originally wanted a short almond shape, but because my nails were not quite long enough yet, Britney recommended a rounded square shape while we let them grow out. I really appreciated her honesty, patience, and professional guidance. When I got home, even my husband, who has been through my entire nail journey with me, immediately noticed how great they looked and said they were better than ever before. That meant a lot because he knows how particular I am about my nails, and for him to notice the difference right away said everything. Since then, I have continued to be impressed. My appointments feel calm, personal, and never rushed. I never feel like just another number, and when I have an appointment, that time is truly set aside for me. I can honestly say I have found my forever nail salon and my forever nail girl. Britney knows how I like my nails, pays attention to every detail, and makes the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. I also had an appointment with her before the Fourth of July, and she did the cutest nails for me. I have received so many compliments on them. If you are looking for a nail salon where you receive genuine one-on-one attention, excellent communication, beautiful work, and a technician who truly listens, I highly recommend The Painted Lady Nail Salon.
