“I really wanted to like it here. Honestly, I did. The staff were very nice and I enjoyed talking with them while I pampered myself (Massage, mani-pedi, wash/cut/style). Mostly while I was there things seemed ok. There was a part where I was getting my hair styled where I was very clear that I just wanted the natural curls/waves that I did already have styled/accentuated and instead she straightened and then curled my hair, but that definitely wasn’t the worst part. It wasn’t until after I left that things really went south. The next day, one of my big toes started hurting, getting swollen, and red. It was infected from a poorly done pedicure. I had to soak it twice a day and drain the pus (I know, tmi) but a few days later when it was almost healed, the other toe started hurting. That toe is even more infected. The other one cleared up, but not this one. I also want to mention, I have been extremely busy so I have not been able to sit down and write this review for a while, and it is NOT clearing up. I think I may have to go to the doctor to get antibiotics, which is extremely disappointing as the doctor is expensive. This is also not the end. When I went to remove the manicure, I filed off the top layer, as this is the first step to removing a gel manicure. This gave me contact dermatitis, which can happen if the layers of gel are not cured enough. It was so itchy that it kept me awake. I honestly feel so horrible that I have to leave this review. I have never left a negative review. Honestly, the massage was great! I just hate that I spent hundreds of dollars on services that gave me several medical problems and wanted to warn people. But the people were so nice and I do recommend the massages.”

“I had an appointment for a haircut booked with Annabelle for 6/17. I randomly got a text and email 6/15 that my appointment was canceled without explanation. I have tried texting calling and emailing for an explanation and no response. There is no option to speak with a person when you call. Extremely unprofessional. Update in response to the companies reply: I understand as the entire world has been short staffed especially since Covid however a simple explanation attached to the cancelation message would have been more appropriate.”

“Annabelle was the young woman who provided an express pedicure with paraffin wax treatment. As well I had a wash and cut by her. She is a lovely, personable person, and it was a very comfortable and relaxing treatment. The haircut was also nice, though maybe a little too much conditioner on my hair, since it dried rather flat, instead of full of body--not typical with my hair. All in all, I was most satisfied with what was done, and Annabelle made it so. Thank you, Annabelle! I'll be back soon.”

“Natalie is AMAZING! My neck, back, shoulders, and feet feel so much better! THANK YOU!! Def recommend adding cupping- it's a game changer with instant relief. The CBD cream and oil helps so much- this is the third time I've used it and I bought it for home. In addition to the massage I had today, I've also seen Grace in the past for their Headspa & mini facial and the Cryotherapy facial- AMAZING!!! Ask them about their specials! Grace is wonderful, knowledgeable, and so kind. I always book another session with her when leaving- the Headspa is one of my favorite things! I have also seen Abby for a lash tint and lift - I was so nervous to try this but wow the results were great. She walked through the whole process ahead of time and is a true artist at her craft. I have a lash extension appointment booked with her this month- so excited!! All in all Sunset Spa is where you want to go for all your self care needs- the staff, esthetic, and energy is sure to make your day feel beautiful! I recommend Sunset Spa to everyone!
