“I booked a pedicure for 12:10 PM, and since the salon’s Google listing says it opens at 10 AM, I expected it to be open when I arrived at 12:00 PM. Instead, the salon was locked. I waited several minutes, called both the salon and my assigned nail tech, but neither answered. Since I had to leave for work, I left around 12:20 PM. Shortly afterward, the nail tech called asking if I was still coming. I explained that I had left because the salon was closed and there had been no communication that she was running late. She offered a later appointment at 4pm, but it didn’t fit my schedule. When I requested a refund for the service that was never provided, the conversation became unnecessarily confrontational. Rather than acknowledging the lack of communication, she raised her voice, questioned whether I was “a real person,” and accused me of being inhumane for not waiting. I understood that the $20 deposit was nonrefundable, but the way I was spoken to was disappointing and unprofessional. As a business owner myself, I understand that delays happen. A simple text letting me know she was running late would have completely changed the situation. Communication goes a long way. I did return later that day to receive the remaining $30 refund, and the staff member who helped me then was kind, professional, and pleasant. I appreciate her assistance, but unfortunately my first impression of this salon was overshadowed by the lack of communication and poor customer service.”

“The salon has a beautiful interior and the staff were pleasant. However, I was disappointed with the appointment experience. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I waited an additional 35–40 minutes without any communication regarding the delay. There was no acknowledgment of the extended wait, nor was an apology or accommodation offered. I was also charged an extra $10 for a very minor add-on service. Better communication and respect for appointment times would greatly improve the overall customer experience.”

“I booked an appointment with Armanii for a gel pedi & manicure my appointment was at 4:30 in which I called saying I was going to be ten minutes late due to traffic I got there and had to wait until 5:05 ish until my stylist came. She was a great conversation and upselling her talents, offered me Water and was quick with my nails. She did great on my toes took her time and offered me hot stones,hot towel and a hot mask for my feet to make up for the waiting. My feet are very smooth lol. When it came time to pay I had already paid a $32 dollar deposit and had $48 left to pay but when she rung me up it came up to be $60 in which I asked if that was with my deposit included. I was a bit confused but came to think maybe they self included tip which was $12 bucks. Overall I wouldn’t mind coming back again.”
