What people are saying

“I had an appointment but still had to wait about 15 minutes before being seen. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t improve much after that. My technician was Shelly. While she was polite, I wasn’t happy with the final result. Two of my nails required extensions, and those are the ones that look misaligned and bulky compared to the rest. The shaping isn’t consistent, especially from the side. The cat eye design also doesn’t look properly executed as the effect appears uneven and not well defined. Attaching a reference picture I showed for my nails. There was minimal cuticle care, which makes the overall finish look less clean than I expected. Additionally, while I was seated at the pedicure station, the technician next to mine accidentally sprayed water all over me, soaking my clothes and the chair. It was uncomfortable and not handled very professionally.”

“Final edit 9/29: I am still very disappointed and after trying again will not be returning. My nails honestly look terrible. I asked the tech (who ended up being the same one I got last time and was dissatisfied with - see below pink nails) and am even more dissatisfied. I had a text conversation with the owner about the pink nails and my poor visit and we scheduled this one I had today. I am in a profession where I can (as of now) only have clear polish but I still want the joy of pretty nails. So I asked the owner exactly how to ask for a clear manicure that looks like natural nails but still cute. I showed the tech the photo the owner sent me and said exactly how the owner said to ask (American manicure) yet still came out with extremely poor nails. They are uneven and poorly done.once again. Wasted my money. Edit after original review below: I do appreciate that the owner read my review below and reached out to me to address some of the things. Some of the communication errors were discussed and there is a plan to try to correct the issues with the nails from the original visit where they have offered me to come in to fix them. Once again I appreciate the time the company took to look at my review and make corrections. While I don’t know if it’ll change my choice in using them, as a business I think it’s a good quality to try to correct issues that patrons may have and do so respectfully which I believe I received. Edited my review based on the openness and respectfulness the owner displayed. I’ve been coming here for a couple years and I have always felt like they were a 3/5 in general but this time might be the last time I use them. I have multiple nails that were filed way down to where the polish was removed which is noticeable (I didn’t see this in the salon as you know you’re always in a rush). I also have a toe nail where the toe is overpainted (I get it pinky toe nails are tiny) but just seems like sloppy work. And then when I paid with card I realized she automatically added a tip. And then asked for a Venmo tip so just seemed a little off like if I hadn’t seen that I would’ve been tricked to double tip. I also have to have a certain length for work and she seemed annoyed each time I asked to make them shorter which made me uncomfortable to ask again even though these are too long still and I will have to pay to have them changed after the weekend. Overall very displeased”

“They did a decent job for the price. A lot of the stones fell off within a day, but they put them back on when I came by to get it fixed. Not the best nail salon I've been to, but were alright during vacation and had walk-ins available.”

“I came here for the first time based on good reviews, but I will not be returning. I booked an appointment for a pedicure, but the service felt rushed from the start. I asked the nail tech to cut my nails shorter, and she refused, saying she would just file them instead. She filed them crooked, and even after I pointed it out, she didn’t correct them. After painting my nails, I noticed polish on my skin. Instead of properly removing it, she just tried to scratch it off with her nail — which didn’t work. The pedicure itself was mediocre, but the polish application was unacceptable. When she finished, she didn’t acknowledge me at all and immediately hurried off to her next appointment. I had to ask another nail tech for help. She spoke to someone about my situation, but no one came over to speak to me. As I write this, I’ve been waiting an hour for someone to either fix my nails or remove the polish entirely. Disappointed is an understatement.”

“I had such a wonderful experience with Nailmaste! It was my first time at this Salon and my first ever time getting nail art. The nail tech I worked with, Anna, was extremely kind and patient! She helped turn my nebulous idea into something tangible. I greatly appreciate her creativity and talent, as this is by far the most stunning manicure I’ve ever gotten! We did gel on top of my real nails and they turned out magnificent!”
