What people are saying
“I went to get my nails done for my birthday. I have been here 2 times before and it was great, but this time wasn’t so good. The nail artist is the lady who sits at number 4 with a red coffee smock on. I had some issues with my nails; the nail tech didn’t fill them in well, it looked weird. One of my nails had a big dent in the polish, there were parts the clear coat didn’t get, and the paint felt rough. So I went back on the 19th and I walked in; no one said anything or greeted me. I had an appointment and literally sat there for 10 mins. Then I was standing in line and these ladies come in behind me, and the nail tech that did my nails asked 'How can I help you?' to them. The ladies asked if I got helped; I said, 'No, I haven’t been helped.' So then the lady who did my nails asked what I needed and showed her. She told me to sit down and she disappeared for like 15 mins. Here I am just sitting, and the nail lady next to her just kept telling me to pick out a color. Then the nail tech finally comes back and I tell her again what I want. I said, 'Are you going to charge me?' She said, 'Yes.' I said, 'I don’t think that’s fair to me to have to pay because they were not done right the first time.' So she spoke to the lady next to her in a language I don’t understand, and then she said, 'Okay.' I said, 'Am I going to be charged?' She said, 'Not this time.' If you have a choice in the lady who does your nails, I do not recommend the lady at number 4 in the red coffee smock; choose a different nail tech. I also didn’t get any lotion, and she didn’t clean the dead skin around my fingers; she just drilled the cuticle with the drill.”
“Staff was very friendly, the environment was really nice but the price was expensive for basic acrylics. I was getting a fill in and it cost $75… They did a good job but that’s a little ridiculous..”
“Kevin needs some lessons in customer service, I asked for #5 on my nails and it looks like a toddler drew it, he didn’t know what a # sign was and he was extremely rude. For $80 I would expect my nails to look professional, very disappointing. He clearly needs to work on his people skills, lesson learned!”
“To put it in the simplest terms. Do not come here if you’re black. I don’t want to be that person…but I should have read reviews before I came it.They were recommended by a friend…for starters.. I got a pedi and an acrylic fill-in..basic fill in short white set. Same for normal pedicure. my total was $82…not sure how. When I asked about the price the man (manager Kevin) said we charge you extra and when I asked why he flat out said “skin”. When asked what he meant he repeated him self…another black lady came in at 5:04pm and he said they’re done taking people for the day..they close at 6:30 and the sign on the door says “ last customer 30 mins before close”…there was just me and one other person in there getting a pedicure. They had time. Two white customers then came in and he took them no problem…I seriously would not recommend coming here. I never leave reviews but felt this place very well deserved one. It’s simple unacceptable. If they refuse the right to service certain people (black) it should be known. Attached are their prices. My total should have only been $70.”
“Ken did a great job with my nails. I showed him this as an inspo but I wanted purple as the color on my tips. He was quick and super understanding, I am so pleased with his service.”
