“I brought my daughter here for a nail day and checked the salon’s own website prices before coming in, since she did so well at her dentist visit. Their online menu showed prices like Express Pedicure $27, Classic Manicure $17, Solar clear/regular polish $40+, with add-ons listed separately. I showed the online pricing when I arrived, and instead of receiving a clear explanation or polite customer service, the staff became rude and made us feel uncomfortable for referencing their own posted prices. What made the experience worse was that I was using AI translation glasses, so I could understand some of what was being said around me. One person made a comment that I “wasn’t stupid” for knowing the prices, and another said to “keep it down” because they didn’t need everyone knowing. That made the situation feel very uncomfortable and unprofessional. The service also felt rushed, and my express manicure/pedicure was initially left with polish on my skin. I had to speak up firmly before it was corrected. I paid $99 & still tipped $15 because I respect service workers and I don’t like leaving without tipping, but I will not be returning. That was just my experience. The salon is pretty inside, and the online prices are appealing, but new customers should not be treated badly for asking about prices posted by the business itself. I recommend screenshotting the online menu before going in and confirming the total before any service starts. Management should either honor the website pricing or update it clearly, and staff should treat customers with respect regardless of whether they think the customer understands them.”
