“⭐️ My Experience Today — Very Disappointed I went to this nail shop today after having been there once before about 11 months to a year ago. Unfortunately, this experience was completely different, and I honestly left extremely disappointed. I went in with a very simple request: black, square-shaped nails—nothing complicated. Instead, the first nail tech started doing something completely different from what I asked for. She put some clear product on my nails, cured it under a UV/LED light, and then started applying a pre-shaped nail that was almond-shaped. I never asked for almond nails, so I was immediately confused. When I told her I didn’t like it, I asked her to remove them. She did, so I appreciated that. After that, she started applying acrylic. Again, I immediately noticed that the nails were extremely thick, and the shape was completely different from what I requested. Then, somehow, my nails ended up being shaped coffin-shaped. Again, I NEVER asked for coffin nails. I specifically asked for square nails. I kept explaining that I didn’t like the shape and that the acrylic was too thick, but I was repeatedly told, “I’m going to fix it,” and “You’ll see.” At that point, another technician was called over to shape the nails. When I went over to her, I explained that I had already told the first technician that I did not like the nails and that I did not want to pay for something I wasn’t happy with. I was still very uncomfortable with how everything was turning out. Unfortunately, I ended up paying $50 for the service, but I absolutely hate my nails. The shape was not what I requested, the nails were much thicker than I wanted, one of my thumbs was noticeably longer than the others, and instead of the simple square nails I asked for, I left with coffin-shaped nails that I never requested. I’m not someone who expects perfection, but if a customer clearly communicates what they want and repeatedly says they are unhappy with how something is being done, I believe the technician should stop, listen, and make sure the customer is comfortable before continuing. I left extremely frustrated and disappointed, especially because my request was so simple. I will not be returning. I paid $50 for a service that I genuinely did not like, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience today.”
“My wife and I came in together for pedicures. Her service lasted about 40 minutes while I sat in the chair next to her waiting. When it was finally my turn, my pedicure was over in roughly 10 minutes. Something doesn’t seem right about that. My wife enjoyed her experience, but mine felt rushed and incomplete. In fact, it was so quick that there’s not much to remember about it. I left feeling disappointed, especially considering we were both there for the same service.. Very disappointing experience.”
“I’m honestly really disappointed by my experience here. I came in excited to get my nails done, but instead I was mocked for having sweaty hands — something I’m already self-conscious about. It got so uncomfortable and embarrassing that I actually tried to leave, but instead of respecting that, they pressured me to sit back down and finish the appointment. The entire process took about an hour and a half, and unfortunately the final result was not worth it. The nail shape was uneven, wonky, and looked poorly done. I ended up having to redo them myself at home, which completely defeats the purpose of paying for a professional service. On top of that, it’s only been a week and my nails are already lifting, with four nails popping off. No one should feel humiliated or pressured during a service they’re paying for. Professionalism and basic kindness matter just as much as quality, and sadly this place failed at both. I have a picture of my nails as well, this is after I painted a design on them to try to make them look cuter.”
“I went in 5 days ago to get dip & 1 acrylic nail because my real nail had broken, within two days my dip was chipping and my acrylic completely broke off of my nail within 5. I’ve never had this happen before. The guy who did my nails is very sweet though but didn’t give me square like I requested. My nails were basically already shaped and just needed a little tune up and he didn’t do as requested some also look very uneven including the acrylic is was really crooked. Also some nails have a bumpy feel to them. Just not happy about the outcome.”
“In lack of better words, I will not be returning to this salon. I understand staffing issues are an all around issue no matter where you go, however- I had an appointment(dip & pedicure) arranged for 5:30 and waited until 6:20 to even receive any services. They didn’t finish until after closing time. My nails turned out terrible, they’re all crooked and different sizes. After being there for 2+ hours, I figured there was no point in addressing. I attempted multiple times to correct him while he was buffing and shaping but he clearly wasn’t attentive to my concerns. Sad because this place used to be my favorite.”
