What people are saying
“I wish I could give you a "zero plus zero" rating, because you shouldn't mess with other people's time and money. I went there to get my nails done for the first time and booked an appointment with Jacob because my boyfriend and I had read good reviews about him. The service was fine at first they offered me a drink but then Cindy showed up to do my nails. I asked why Jacob wasn't doing my nails today and she said it was his day off. If it was his day off, you should have told me to book for another day instead of letting Cindy do them; she didn't listen to me at all. I told her what I wanted, but she did whatever she felt like. I was there for over two hours because another guy eventually had to step in to help Cindy or at least try to fix the disaster she had made of my nails. I paid $75 for these horrible nails. I’m going to go back there and demand an explanation why they didn't tell me Jacob wasn't working that day, and instead let Cindy give me these awful nails that make my hands look old.”
“There is no better or effective nail service in northern Atlanta. These people are given to service and support. My wife and I have been going here since they opened and will continue to for years to come. The salon itself is beautiful and a treat to come to and to be pampered by these talented nail service professions. We highly recommend Lavish Nail Bar! You will not be disappointed.”
“In less than 48 hours of an SNS manicure three nails literally fell off, cracked, discoloration and looked terrible. Never had such a bad experience at any nail salon ever and never had this happen with an SNS. Service, friendliness etc are not worth the convenience of being close. Update: And ANOTHER nail just fell off.”
“Sadly, I won’t be going to Lavish anymore. I hate to be this person, but here we are. I went in for a gel manicure instead of SNS, specifically because I didn’t want to have to go back to get SNS off. The nail tech did SNS anyway and I didn’t realize until halfway through. She then tried to charge me for SNS, even though I had asked for gel. After speaking with her about it, she switched it back. A month later, I tried to take the SNS off myself, but without success. I called the salon and asked if they would take it off for free since I never asked for it in the first place (I was happy to tip though!). The person who answered the phone spoke to Jimmy, one of the owners, and Jimmy agreed that I could get it off for free, so I made an appointment. I got a pedicure and I got the SNS taken off. I spoke to the person at the front and told her that Jimmy had said I wouldn’t be charged for the SNS removal. The person asked the other owner, Jimmy’s wife, Katie, and Katie refused to honor it. She said it was a “miscommunication.” Again, hate to be a complainer, but I thought it was important to share. I won’t be going back.”
“I’ve been coming to Lavish for a long time. I really love coming here because Lexi, Lisa, Jimmy, and Katie are all awesome to me and whenever my husband comes along. They are always do a great job doing my nails and are never rude. This is the first nail salon I’ve come to where I don’t feel unwelcome. In fact, I feel very welcome here and everyone is super friendly. I love it at Lavish. Well, I realized I never have left a review, so here I am. Today I asked for a specific nail design and Katie did such an amazing job, I had to share. I keep looking at my nails because I think they are so pretty!”
