“I came in today with two friends to celebrate one of their birthdays and received a gel manicure and pedicure. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The nail technician who performed both of my services was very rough throughout the appointment. While filing my toenails, she was so aggressive that she caused bleeding on multiple toes. Rather than apologizing, she simply applied rubbing alcohol and continued filing and cutting my nails in the same rough manner. The callus removal portion of the pedicure felt rushed, and my feet were left dry, flaky, and far from the smooth result I expected. Throughout the service, she repeatedly shoved my feet into the UV light, scraping my freshly painted nails against the sides of the dryer. She also started a five-minute timer for the leg massage but spent roughly the first minute doing nothing before giving a very brief and unenthusiastic calf massage. The manicure was equally uncomfortable. She handled my hands very aggressively, frequently pulling and jerking my arms when switching between hands. Her behavior was rough enough that my friend, who was seated next to me receiving the same service from a different technician, noticed and commented on it. To make matters worse, the staff became very pushy about payment at the end of the appointment, despite the fact that the first member of our group had already paid for all three of us. She had only received a manicure and had finished approximately 45 minutes before my other friend and I. Overall, this experience was neither relaxing nor enjoyable. Instead, it was painful, uncomfortable, and left me regretting my decision to visit. I was looking forward to a celebratory spa experience with friends, but unfortunately, the service fell far below expectations.”

“I had a very unpleasant experience here a few weeks ago that I have to share. I called ahead of time to see if they had time to squeeze in a gel pedicure and the lady on the phone said they did. I show up ten minutes later and the people at the counter were very welcoming and told me to pick out my color. Fine. The woman who ended up doing my pedicure was cold, impersonal, and on top of that it seemed like it was her first time ever doing nails. She was being extremely rough with my feet, especially when cutting my cuticles to the point that she cut a small area on my big toe and I started bleeding. She didn’t even say sorry, just put some alcohol on a cotton pad and wrapped it around my toe and continued going over the same spots over and over again with the cuticle cutter even though I told her multiple times that it hurt. She was doing it so much that it almost seemed like she was going over the same sensitive areas on purpose. When it came time to paint my nails, I learned that she did not know how to do a gel pedicure as she used the wrong base coat and the woman doing someone’s toes next to us had to instruct her that she had to use a gel base coat for gel polish. I even clarified with her when I first sat down that the color I picked out was a gel color so she KNEW I was getting gel. It appeared that she didn’t even know the polish had to be dried with the UV lamp and when the woman next to us corrected her again, she got up and walked away without saying a word to me and started cleaning up for about 10 minutes before another woman came over and finished my nails. The woman who finished them also did a horrible paint job, there were bumps in the polish on three of my toes and she applied it extremely thick. And to top everything off, they charged me $70. The whole experience was extremely nerve wracking and not the salon experience I was looking for after a long day at work”

They are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure every single client is happy and comfortable. The salon itself is spotless and beautifully designed—it’s always fresh, clean, and relaxing. They never rush through services; instead, they take their time and make sure every detail is perfect. Their pedicures are unmatched; the massages alone are so amazing they could put you right to sleep. It’s such a treat and leaves you feeling completely refreshed. Every visit is consistently a five-star experience. I always leave with gorgeous nails, a relaxed mind, and a big smile. La Jolie is everything you want in a salon—professional, caring, and absolutely beautiful.”

“Love love love this nail place! I get my nails done on the regular— at this point, when I walk in everyone here gets so excited and says hi to me :) I’ve moved around a lot in the last 5 years and was so excited to find “my” place here. The staff is extremely friendly, the spa super clean and sanitary, & service is exceptional! With all manis and pedis they provide a lil back massage and complimentary hot/cold tea. I’ve had just about everyone there work on my nails at some point or another and it just feels like family! When I’m in between choosing a color, they are very helpful with showing me the different selections, how they look, and even give recommendations based on what I’m looking for (see light pink neutral sparkly UV gel nails & see tan regular gel nails). When a nail breaks pre-maturely Ive had no issues going back and they’ve resolved swiftly and effectively. I’ve attached pics of the nails I’ve gotten so far… can’t wait to go back for my (hopefully soon) engagement nails!!! Thank you guys so much! Love coming to get my nails done :)”
