What people are saying

“I just moved to the area from Lexington. My nails were long, NATURALLY. About as long as they are now in this picture. I explicitly said to NOT cut my nails. My nails were HEALTHY and strong. I also mention that I want SNS/dip, and continue to use acrylic. Instead of a soak off, the nail tech used a separate fake nail to RIP the SNS I had off my nail; this made the application of the acrylic painful and BURN. The french tip white and the acrylic used on the other nails are not the same color. The french tips are a good and opaque white, while the other nails are a translucent white. It’s been hours and my nails still hurt from the way this service was. They turned a 45 minute visit into 2 hours. This is not worth $100. I got better sets in Lexington for cheaper. This would’ve costed me $75 at my other salon. I will not be back.”

“I came here as a new customer and I was thrilled with the results. The staff were helpful, communicative, and ensured that I was pleased with the shape of my nails, color and checked in throughout the visit. They were honest and upfront about pricing for extra nail art and gave me different options. I was very pleased with the outcome and will definitely return.”

“I would give a zero star, but I am giving a one star because the woman who did my nails was very sweet and did a great job. But I would give a zero star for the management. The manager there is extremely rude. I’ve never been a fan of him, but today sent me through the roof. At my appointment today, my child was sitting next to me (yes, I asked for permission for him to sit by me) and about 25 minutes later the manager said he “needed that chair“. I said okay and was going to move my five-year-olds coloring things. I could not move his things immediately because my hand was under a lamp and the lady doing my nails asked me not to move quite yet. No joke, less than 30 seconds later he came storming over to where my little five-year-old was sitting and started taking the crayons out of his hands and away from the front of him and told him to get up and he needed the chair right now for this woman. My son was very upset and embarrassed, which is understandable and it took everything in me to keep my composure. Seeing how rudely this manager was dealing with my child. The woman doing my nails was even embarrassed, saying that that was unnecessary Because the woman that he placed in that seat was not even ready for her appointment because the other who was going to do her nails was not even finished with his client before her. So the whole situation was absolutely unnecessary and extremely frustrating. It was just very unprofessional and flat out rude. It’s already hard to find a good place to get your nails done in this town, but I would rather travel than pay money to somebody who handles people like that. So I will not be returning. Unfortunately, I do not recommend.”

“My fiancé went here today, had to have 3 different techs work on her nails, each time the job looked rushed and half-assed. After the third attempt I stepped in and asked for a refund. Not only did she waste 3+hours of her day, I wasted 2 having to come in and step in when the manager who stated they've been doing nails 30 years, should've been able to look at the work and known that it wasn't satisfactory. Heard multiple customers also complaining about the shape and how they looked pumped and bulky. Terrible customer service and very expensive to get such poor work and craftsmanship. She will never do business here again, and I suggest you don't either.”

“I went here a couple times several years ago when I first moved to Kentucky and had a couple of bad experiences which made me go to other nail salons. I’m not the type to always get my nails done and it’s been years since I’ve had acrylic on my nails. I just had gel x on them and Lux did them and I had a horrible experience with that salon. When my new girl cancelled on me tonight because her and her kiddos were sick, my co worker told me to go here and book an appointment with Kenny. I was thrilled at the sheer fact I could book an appointment online and pick who I wanted. First star for that! I arrived a couple mins early. When you walk in, you will not be ignored like you are when you go to Lux. You are acknowledged immediately! Second star for that! My appointment was at 6 and I was in his seat at 6:01! Third star for that! Can’t get that kind of service in a doctors office these days. Kenny was very sweet the entire time. He asked me every time if my nails were ok after he did anything to them. He truly cares about your happiness with his work. Fourth star for that. Lastly, my nails were SO brittle and splitting and very thin. I was SCARED to have him use the files and what not because any other nail tech has always hurt me even if my nails weren’t in bad shape prior. Kenny is super gentle and I felt absolutely no pain when he did my nails. That’s the fifth star! They deserve all their loyal customers that they have. It is a great environment and everyone is very friendly. I’m thankful I gave them another chance! ❤️”
