What people are saying

“Helen did my daughter's stripe and polka dot nails and she is in love! Haley did my flower nails with the inspo from my phone case, and I think she did such a great job! I called at 430pm and was able to get both of us in at 6pm, and we were out by 7:30pm. Loved the free mocktail I got as well, strawberry lime fizz was delicious :) The salon is also very nice inside. I highly recommend Hera Nail Bar!”

“First time getting a head spa! 🥹 And when I say first time, let me explain that if you have never had one!? ☝️ You will want to make it the norm for a must add-on when getting your essential self-care to does checked off! We stopped by Hera Nail Bar and Head Spa for our usual nail service. Ken and Dan suggested we try something relaxing, since we finished errands early and had extra time to spend. We left feeling refreshed and very rejuvenated. My skin looked and felt smooth. Nails and toes were matching. I had to swing by Megs coffee shop and just relax after that. And called it a day. Day spa! Hannie and Max were very welcoming! They treat us like family. Love you Hera! Thank you for always taking care of your clients!”

“I had an appointment at 4:45pm yesterday and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience from start to finish. When I arrived I was asked if I wanted to try builder gel and I said yes, I explained the nail shape I wanted to two different employees before being moved to a third technician. Since the previous employee handed her my inspiration photo, I assumed my requested shape had been communicated as well. Instead, she began working without asking any questions, and my nails were shaped completely differently than I requested. When I pointed it out, they had to be reshaped, which made them even shorter. The design was another disappointment. The technician never checked in to ask if I liked it or if it matched the inspiration photo before finishing. The final result looked nothing like what I had requested, my nails felt thick and like buttons were plopped on my hands, and I was genuinely so disappointed, I cried. To make matters worse, by the next morning both of my thumbs were already bubbling near the cuticle, which shouldn’t happen with a brand-new set. I called after I got home because I genuinely hated them and was told to come back the following morning. When I returned, I asked to have everything removed and receive a refund since the service was not what I requested. They refused. I then tried to compromise by asking for a regular gel manicure instead and a refund for the difference in price between the builder gel service and a standard gel manicure. They refused that as well. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What’s disappointing is the way it was handled, absolutely no attempt to make things right, despite the nails looking nothing like the inspiration photo and already showing defects less than 24 hours later. I left paying for a service I was unhappy with, never going here again.”

“I had a very disappointing experience. The nail work was rushed, the shaping was uneven, and the overall quality was poor. The biggest issue was that the charms started falling off the very same day I got my nails done. For the amount I paid, that’s completely unacceptable. On top of that, my nails have been extremely painful since the appointment. They feel sore and tender, and it’s uncomfortable to do normal daily activities. A nail appointment should not leave someone in this much pain. I was expecting professional work that would last, but instead I ended up with painful nails and decorations falling off within hours. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning and can’t recommend this salon based on my experience.”

“I went in yesterday to get my acrylic nails filled and had a terrible experience. I wanted my nails a little shorter, and the way the nail tech had my hands angled, the length I thought was good turned out to be way shorter than expected (against my fingertips). By the time I realized, I felt it was too late to say anything. He then asked me what nail shape I wanted then told me it wouldn’t work because of how short they were. I had two fingers cut by an electric nail file and the nail tech made no comment after I physically jumped back both times. The paint job was rough, messy, and uneven. After drying them under the UV light, I noticed the underside of my nails were wet. When I told the nail tech, he told me to put my hands in with my palms up twice each. I left with very sore fingers and was not happy, especially after paying over $70. I came back today hoping for some sort of refund. I didn’t tell the manager the extent of my experience because the man who did my nails was standing right next to her listening in, and I felt too embarrassed to say I thought he did a bad job in front of him. The manager offered me 50% off a new set to be done right then. I thought about asking if we could find a better solution, but as a customer, I shouldn’t have to negotiate. Instead, I had them remove the nails (which was done for free) and left. I received no form of reimbursement or even a gift certificate for next time. I had to pay full price for a set of nails I had on for less than a day. Safe to say I will not be going back, and I recommend everyone find a different place to get their nails done.”
