“The nail tech insisted on me using gel builder on my natural nails instead of getting tips. My nails are very brittle and were literally breaking as she was working on them because my previous set needed to be removed. I asked for what I wanted and asked to have a nail adjusted a few times and either received push back or had it done wrong again so I just let her finish, paid, and left. She made my nails so thin it was painful - I kept pulling away without meaning to because it hurt, the French tip was quite uneven, and the base color was too white and made it look like my fingers weren’t getting enough oxygen. Within a couple days my natural nails separated from the gel which was uncomfortable and unsanitary as it creates a lot of space for debris to get stuck. After a week both thumbnails have broken and are extremely painful because of how thin she filed my nails. I’m scared to even get them fixed at another salon because they’re already so thin and painful. Save your money and your nails unless you’re getting a simple manicure.”
