“Recently moved back to the area and of all the salons around I chose to go to Gelous Nails. Im very happy I did. They did an excellent job and Im very happy with my nails.”

“Helen was meticulous with my pedicure, she was patient, she took her time, and she was so kind. Helen was the best! My toes are gorgeous! The nail salon is very cute, clean, with wonderful pedicure chairs that massage. All of the staff were very nice and welcoming. This was my first time and I will surely be back!!!!”

“I had an appointment today at 12:30 for both myself and my mom. She was seen right away, but I had to wait around 30 minutes—which I didn’t mind at all. What I did mind was how rushed and inattentive the service felt once it was my turn. The nail tech kept bouncing between the front counter and my service, and when she started on my nails, she seemed to be hurrying through every step. She didn’t ask me to wash my hands before painting—which is standard—and only said “OK go wash” when I asked, “Don’t you want me to wash”?She was also skipping the tips of my thumbnail, which I had to point out (awkward). She sent me up front to dry and once my nails dried, she wiped the polish off my skin and said, “all set”—no lotion, no final touches, just done. It felt like I was being pushed out the door. For context, I’m a very generous tipper—usually 25-30%, and I even tipped the dog groomer $60 earlier today. But today’s experience didn’t warrant a tip—it warranted honest feedback. This was my first time leaving a review—on anything—but I believe every customer is a chance to build trust and long-term business. Unfortunately, that’s not what I found here. I’ll be looking for another local salon, because for me, this isn’t it. I am graduating nursing school tomorrow and I have not been able to have my nails done for many years. I was really hoping to feel refreshed today! After I dropped my Mom off, I was hoping to go back and get my feet done. I am too disappointed and will head to Salem.”

“Kevin is literally a god send nail art technician !! He is kind , friendly and super talented. Pays special attention to your nails and each client (I have referred all my friends here and they have all loved him and his work). I have never once had an issue of lifting or any other nonsense I’ve had at previous salons. If you want a clean, friendly and reasonably priced place to go please consider gelous nails !! Thankkkk you Kevin and staff for always being so so nice to me and my friends and family enjoy some pictures of Kevin’s amazing talent at nail art :)”
