“So first I would like to start this review off by saying that the AC and the establishment was broken and with the heat index the temperature outside was 100 degrees. So needless to say it was hot! Aside from that on their pricing sheet, they have two columns for pricing: a cash price (which is cheaper) and a card price. This is perfectly fine because I understand that card processing companies do charge fees. When I went on the website, I saw that they were doing a promotion for 10% off of service if you make an appointment instead of doing a walk-in service. So I booked an appointment to be able to take advantage of the 10% off promotion. At check out I was told that I could not take advantage of the 10% off for booking an appointment because I was already receiving a discount for paying cash!! The way that I understand it; this is not a discount I am receiving for paying cash. This is simply you not charging me the credit card processing fees that you would be charged for me using a card to pay for my services…. But okay I guess I won’t get the discount that you advertised to me and did not mention in the advertisement that if you are paying cash and receiving the cash pricing that you are not eligible to get any promotions! Now onto the actual services: the pedicure was fine and I have no complaints at all. My acrylic nail service is a different story. The picture with the short beige colored nails attached to this review is what I showed the man that did my nails and told him I wanted this specific length and shape. I wanted it to look exactly like the photo in terms of the length and shape. The blue and sparkling nails is what I received. Entirely much much longer and wider than the picture I showed him. The colors of my nails are exactly as I requested and I have no complaints with the color. But the length and shape are not even close to the photo I showed that I wanted. My part time job is bartending. The nails I have are WAY TOO LONG for me to be able to bartend with. So to summarize: I spent 2 hours sweating in 100 degree heat getting nails done that I will have to either get corrected to a much shorter and skinnier look or have them removed and re-done entirely. Then to top of the icing on the cake: be told at check out that I was false advertised into trying out the salon in the first place because I can not get the 10% discount I went out of my way to qualify for because I am paying in cash and I am not being charged any card processing fees so therefore I am already getting a “discount”.”
