What people are saying

“If only I could leave negative stars for this salon. I was very disappointed and genuinely hurt by their lack of hospitality and customer service skills. I got my Lashes done for the first time there last Friday and they were irritating me so bad I was 🤏 close to getting an eye infection. I went back there once I was able to on Tuesday and asked for them to be removed and go get a refund because I got a whispy set for $85 and the placement was too close to my waterline and was hurting me, it was not worth $85. Now their policy says that they can’t give refunds after the initial appointment (even if you leave and come back the same day it’s not possible). So they gave me a 30% discount for the next time. I went back there 3 days in a row to get my lashes removed and no one was available nor do they schedule appointments ahead of time. I went back later that day after classes waited 40 minutes for the next available lash tech. Once I got in the lash room and the employee put the lash remover on my eyes she told me that she would leave it on for 10-15 minutes ….. she left me there for 45 MINUTES😢 and within that time music was playing and I was counting the passing time by how many songs played because songs are usually between 2-5 minutes. So 7 songs went by and I got concerned, I waited a bit longer and then started calling for help because people get opening and closing the doors. Finally someone came in washed their hands and sat down, they didn’t say anything to me just started working on removing the lashes. I said I need help and sat down and I told her the serum has been itching me for a while. As she worked I heard tiny scissors being used to remove my lashes and when I woke up I saw gaps in my lashes that were not there. Before coming back to this salon I went someplace else to try to remove them because of the pain. The nail techs at either place could not remove the lashes, and the techs at Concourse nail Bar were unprofessional, inattentive and inhospitable. When I opened my eyes the techs who removed my lashes was the same one that did them incorrectly the first time, and the tech who began the removal process took another client to do their nails. I complained to the manager about being left there 45 minutes and apologized and said it’s because they are busy. It doesn’t matter, in customer service you work with 1 client at a time and if you have to take multiple then you make sure everything is done in a timely manner to appeal to both/ all clients. Either way I hope this review helps someone prepare for what they’re getting themselves into.”

“I had such a great experience! If you’re getting a pedicure, definitely ask for Emily. She is so sweet, takes her time, and pays attention to every detail. My toes came out perfect, and she made the whole experience so relaxing. I’ll definitely be coming back and requesting her again!”

“The place is decent enough. They do have a few techs that are good, more for people doing tips and designs. Regular mani/pedi even gel they just rush through the service. Constantly new technicians. They are not disinfecting their equipment like other places, seems like they use alcohol instead. Hardly anyone speaks English so it’s difficult to request certain things. I asked them not to drill the gel off my nails because it Weakens them and hurts me but he still chose to do what he wanted. Ive gone a handful of times because its Local and convenient but Don’t see myself going back. It’s so hard finding someone who will take care of your nails instead of rushing just to make a buck. Update: it’s been less than a week and my gel is chipped so badly!!”

“I came here for the first time and got my first hard gel manicure. Tim took really good care of me, he was great and gentle with my nails. I show him a picture of what I was looking for and he really deliver down to the details. He is really a perfectionist. Tony was also amazing he took care of me for my pedicure, he was also really great, friendly and meticulous with his work, and the massage was great. They both made sure I was comfortable all the time, and offer if I wanted to have something to drink during my time there. I’m am looking forward to coming back.”

“I tried my nails here for the first time, and I had Vinny refill my builder gel. I usually see my usual builder gel technician, but I couldn’t make my appointment today. So, I looked online for a place nearby that works with builder gel. I saw a review that they did a great job, so I called and asked if they accepted walk-ins. They said yes! It was only about 20 minutes from my place, and I walked right in. I was seated right away and met the nail tech. I was a little nervous because my nail tech has a specific way of prepping and applying the builder gel, and Vinny didn’t, and I think he noticed haha. Towards the end, we started talking more about him and doing nails, and I could tell he noticed I wasn’t a regular here, but he still did a great job. It’s not what I’m used to, but considering it was a decent job, I’m happy with it. He walked me to the front, I paid cash, and I left him a tip. I didn’t realize they also give complimentary drinks upon check-in, but he still offered me a drink and said I could stay as long as I liked! Which is super nice and sweet. The front desk was also very nice; she gave me my second drink and didn’t rush me to leave, even though I paid and already finished my service. I like the service and my technician. He will definitely be my emergency builder gel tech! Haha, though I would like them to take a little more time learning how the builder gel prep and application is done, as it’s different and delicate from acrylic and should be done so. I’ll definitely be back for a gel spa pedicure to try them out. Thank you again, guys!”
