What people are saying

“Thank you, Victoria, for my builder gel fill-in! The nail shop is calming, clean, and cozy. I’m so happy with my nails and will definitely be back whenever I’m in the area.”

“Sloppy work and the women are rude! Believe the bad reviews you read, they are all true. The pictures I took will speak for themselves, my nails are lumpy and the French tip is not nice. I got a ManiPedi (“Natural Manicure w/Gel Polish & Spa Pedicure w/Regular Polish Combo”) with my mom in preparation for my sister‘s wedding and both of us had bad experiences, with women who rushed through everything and did not care how the end result looked. According to the CocoNailbar website, the treatment is supposed to take 1 hour 15 but they were finished in about 50 minutes. $65 in 50 minutes (plus whatever tip they bully out of you) is a great profit margin, if only they offered the service to go with it. It was such a weird experience to have someone get continually more angry with me (and she openly showed her annoyance with me) when I asked her to draw a thin French tip. She rushed through painting the white line to the point where the line is so thick and there is white residue on other parts of my nail too. The French tip doesn’t reach the end of my nail for most of my nails (which are lumpy and have stuff stuck in them) but she got so angry with me whenever I asked her to fix them that I just stopped asking anymore. It’s my sisters wedding and I am doing several readings and a speech so I would have liked to have nice nails. Very disappointed. I will not be recommending this place to anyone I know, in fact I will actively be warning people about this place and their sloppy rushed service.”

“I came in this weekend to have a pedicure done and was really satisfied with the polish and treatment. This was actually my first pedicure ever so I was very impressed! Everything was clearly cleaned and sanitized, and Stephen did a great job with my nails. I’m going to come back soon for a manicure!”

“Nice clean place and I had a good pedicure but similar to other experiences of the reviews, I was not completely satisfied with my SNS and tip extensions. What it comes down to is that my nails were poorly filed/shaped, and my nail was also sliced with the nail file. It did not seem like my tech cared very much to take her time with the shaping. However I did like the powder color selection (which is not always the case in nail salons).”

“***posting 10 days post manicure*** I came in for the first time getting the gel manicure in 3 years. I went to a location in southern Vermont before. I was really excited for this experience! When my friend and I arrived (we booked separate appointments) we were greated by the owner, and immediately whisked to separate stations. There was no communication, just pulling and moving my hands as he pleased, and was upset when I didn't understand the process, even though I explained I hadn't had this experience in 3 years... He filed into my finger on my right ring finger, all of my nails were uneven, and I felt so uncomfortable asking for a fix... Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable coming here again. It's very cute and in a good location! Just don't expect top quality when coming here...”
