What people are saying

“Horrifyingly bad. I just moved to Michigan and this salon was the closest to me. I had previously gotten acrylics in ny and wanted to get them removed and let my nails recover. I could’ve done it at home but I was being responsible and went to an actual salon so I don’t damage my nails. When I made the appointment the guy asked if I wanted anyone specific. I said it could be anyone as long as they know what they are doing. He said sure no problem. He quoted me $28 for acrylic removal and manicure. When I arrived, they sat me with an older lady and right off the bat I could tell she had no idea what she was doing or had very little experience removing acrylics. Acrylics are supposed to be soaked off. This incompetent and lazy woman took out a new acrylic tip and slid it under my nail in efforts to try to peel off my nail. She ended up cutting my real nail under the acrylic this way and kept tugging. When my hand got tense because I was in pain she said “leave it” telling me to loosen my hand. I told her it hurts yet I listened. Finally after almost 25 minutes, she got that acrylic off by peeling. Underneath you could see my exposed nail bed. She saw it, examined it, and then pretended it didn’t happen. However for the rest of the nails she started to soak them as she is supposed to. She was so incompetent that she had to call over another nail tech to come and file off the remaining acrylic and the difference in skill/speed between them was so clear. At the end, she had the audacity to tell me not to get acrylics again because “they take too long to take off.” When I went to pay the guy said he told me the wrong price and the whole thing ended up being $39. Even after the disrespect and injury to my nail (which will take at least a month to recover) I still said nothing and just paid and walked out. I did not tip, which is not something I usually do but there was no way that incompetent, lazy, and deceiving staff was getting a tip out of me today. Protect your nails and go to a salon that actually knows how to do what they are advertising.”

“Jane was amazing, friendly and thoughtful, made sure my polish was dark enough before we started and gave the best scrub and massage. Everyone was really sweet actually and I left with a smile.”

“I went to get a single nail fixed because it broke. Not only did I stay in there for 90 minutes, but the lady who did my nail, cut my finger from grinding it against the nail file.”

“I’ve come here a few times before with my mom, usually pretty good service but I was so disappointed in our last service I don’t think I’ll be returning. This is something my mom and I do together. We both like getting pedicures and often like to talk with one another during our service. This last time the techs were talking so loudly to one another I felt like we had to talk over them to carry on our own conversation. I don’t mind if they talk. Like if I was by myself and they were carrying on a conversation, really no biggie. But please don’t forget you are there to work and not socialize. Your customers should not have to talk over you. I just felt it so rude. Also, my mom pointed out a spot on her foot that was hurting a bit and the tech was very rough and seemed to completely ignore that she asked if she could be gentle. Just overall was not pleased with the service this last time and will be looking for another spot.”

“The lady that works the front desk is super amazing however my nail tech cut me 5 times after I told her she was too close to my skin she proceeded to look at me and roll her eyes. I got a dip manicure Monday (suppose to stay on at least 7-10 days) and started chipping Wednesday which I’ve never had happened- went in Thursday to get in fixed and started chipping again Friday. Very upset with the quality of the mani- never had this happen before:( I called and they were very nice and said my next service was free which I appreciate. However upset that I had to go in twice to get it fixed and then it peels the next day. Hopefully I’ll be able to update my review if I go back:)”
